My dad always told a story growing up about the rich family on the block. For Halloween, they had a bowl of change and you were allowed however much money you could get with a single, one handed grab.
He told us they were allowed to trick or treat for 5 nights (probably an untruth) and they would trade costumes to keep going back to the rich people’s house (possibly a truth).
